Biography
Viloun is an experience design leader with over a decade of experience enabling design teams across APAC to scale and deliver impactful work. Beginning his career in industrial design and UX, he has evolved into a specialist in human-centred design. Today, he focuses on shaping the systems, processes, and design operations that help organisations grow.
Born in Vientiane, Laos, he is a designer whose journey has spanned cities and cultures, having lived in Sydney, Melbourne, Bangkok, and Paris. Currently based in Australia, he brings a global perspective to his work, shaped by diverse personal and professional experiences. Studied at RMIT University in Melbourne, he graduated with a Bachelor of Industrial Design with Honours, where his thesis explored the global travel experience.
He has worked with several human-centred design and innovation consultancies, including Designit and Symplicit, and has collaborated with a broad range of clients and enterprises such as BMW, ANZ, EnergyAustralia, Bangkok Bank, the Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO). His multidisciplinary approach combines strategy, user insight, and design craft to create impactful, human-centred solutions across industries.
